F17 - Leandro Damião pulls his own shirt

Sport: Football Category: Unfair Play
Submitted by: Anonymous
Context:

Leandro Damião, playing for Santos against Criciuma, tried to fool the referee into awarding his team a penalty, by tugging his own shirt, to make it look like the defender behind him was doing it, in a game in 2014.

Outcome:

The referee saw through his con trick but Damião didn't get booked.  Santos lost the game. Damiao claimed, afterwards, that his jersey got stuck to his skin and he was just trying to loosen it.  The Brazilian FA charged him with trying to con the referee and he faced a 6 match ban but ended up not receiving any sanctions.
